Police In Search of Missing 14-Year-Old, Last Seen at UDHS

Philadelphia Police are searching for Destiny Chase-Shim, 14, who was last seen on Friday entering Upper Dublin High School.
According to a story on MyFoxPhilly.com, Shim was dropped off by her father at Upper Dublin High School on just before 10 a.m. Friday. She was reportedly seen with friends that morning.
Chase-Shim lives in Upper Dublin with her mother. Her father lives in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia, according to the story.
"Her family said she was last seen wearing navy blue sweat pants and blue and white Nike sneakers with a brown waist-length coat," said Fox 29. "She was seen carrying a pink book bag."
Chase-Shim is described as being 5'5" tall and weighing around 120 pounds with brown eyes and sandy brown shoulder length hair.
If you know anything about the missing teen, please call the Philadelphia Police Department by dialing 9-1-1.

p.s. "Jghjgh" I think the confusion with the UDHS initials is that she lived in Upper Darby but she went to Upper Dublin.

I'm confused by the 2nd paragraph. She was dropped off by her father at school just before 10. She was reportedly seen by friends? What time did school start? Did she report to the office to get a late slip? Did she go to class? This doesn't sound right.

Just because she was late, don't chastise her because she didn't report to the school office. There are too many things that would prevent the police from releasing information to news seekers that will only cause trouble.

Donald, I don't think anyone is chastising her. They are just stating that, if she was dropped off late, like the father says...........it would be nice to see proof, maybe from her signing in at the office. They do have security cameras in the High School, so I am sure they know whether she did enter the school, who she was with and so on. Prayers she is found safe.

It sounds as if someone who KNOWS (family member?) the facts should go to the media and police and get it on Facebook so public can help and Yes there should be an Amber Alert, someone really dropped the ball and it is apparently up to the general public. Time is of utmost importance!! Side note-- she is described as having sandy brown hair. Her pic does not indicate that.

Story has to be wrong Upper Dublin high school was out at 9am on Friday for mid-terms either way she is still missing! And I haven't seen anything on the news it sickens me. Please find this girl!

I find it weird that she was dropped off a little before 10 when we only had 1 midterm and was leaving by 9:15 ish. So either with with friends somewhere or just bounced. This is my opinion.

Just keep the family in prayer.......theirs nothing for everyone to figure out. That why that have police and detectives to do that job...
