Police Impersonators Wanted for Attempted Burglary, Police Say

Three men wore sweatshirts that read 'POLICE' when they allegedly attempted to burglarize a Blue Bell Home.

 

Whitpain Township Police are searching for three men who allegedly attempted to burglarize a Meredith Lane, Blue Bell home while wearing sweatshirts that read “POLICE” on Feb. 18.

According to police, a victim on the 1800 block of Meredith Lane said that three black men allegedly tried to open the front door of the home just after 1 p.m., but the victim secured the door before they men were able to gain entry.

The victim said that the men fled on foot through the rear yard toward Forest Creek Drive, according to police.
