Josh Shapiro and Leslie Richards, the Democratic candidates for Montgomery County Commissioner, made a stop in Conshohocken on Tuesday as part of the ticket's "Day of Action" campaign event.

The candidates made stops in six county municipalities, including a tour of the shops on Fayette Street in Conshohocken. Conshohocken borough council member and Montgomery county Treasurer candidate Jason Salus on the walk joined them. The Democrats spent roughly two hours in Conshohocken, visiting with residents and stopping in at local businesses, including El Limon, the Great American Pub and Tony and Joe's Pizza.

Shapiro is a state representative representing the 153th district in Montgomery County. Richards is a supervisor for Whitemarsh township.
