She was able to help me with everything from dog behavior issues to dog supplies, grooming, and dog health advice. I could never have made it through that first year with a puppy without Carol.

I nominate Dawn the Pet Nanny. Both Dawn and Pat have been dedicating their lives to help rescue dogs for a very long time. They have brought their experience and dedication to taking care of the pets while the family is away. I wouldn't think twice about leaving my dog with either of them. I know that he would have the best care and I wouldn't have to worry. They are the best.

For us it's the Dog House. Jim treats every dog there as if he/she is his own. I think my dog Louie now looks forward to us going away so he can spend time with Jim and his pals! It is so nice to know that he is being looked after so lovingly.

I use the Doggie Daycare at Runaway Farm Vet Hospital in Pennsburg. My dog has a blast there and a veterinarian owns it. Cheaper than a sitter and my dog gets to play with his friends. They have pools and play time and they are happy and tired when they get home. No cages.

For dog training I nominate Bark Busters of Collegeville. Jeri comes to the house and works with the whole family to educate us and the dog to have better behavior.

I nominate Russ at Old English Grooming and Our local Pottstown Pet Smart! He helped our little girl be prepared for her CGC which she needed as part of her search and rescue training. He kept up our confidence and helped us bond together as we learned together!

I am leaving a third recommendation for Julie Barnett's "Walk the Dog" service. She cares for our pup on an almost daily basis while we both work. She has also helped us so often when we've needed to be away from home. You can tell what good care she gives by how excited our dog is to see her !! Julie is the BEST !!
