Lovebirds Joe and Rebekah Picard met at the New Valley Tavern
Patch asked our readers for love stories on Valentine's Day, and Joe Picard sent a story of how he met his wife Rebehak; they will celebrate their 10-year anniversary this year.
Joe Picard shared the story of meeting his Valentine, Rebehak Phipps-Picard, who he met at the New Valley Tavern in Plymouth in 2011.
Picard and Rebekah Phipps-Picard met at the New Valley Tavern during the summer of 2001, when Rebekah was throwing quarters to get Joe’s attention, according to Joe.
“We hit it off,” said Joe.
In December of 2001, the duo got engaged, and they were married in September of 2003.
They will celebrate their 10-year anniversary this year.
“I love you, Bekah,” Joe said.
