A three-year-old girl lost the tip of her finger Thursday morning, prompting a medical helicopter to be sent to the Holland School in Plymouth Township, according to multiple reports.
The incident was first reported to police at 11:25 a.m., and a helicopter touched down 25 minutes later. The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety confirmed the incident, and said that the girl will likely be flown to a Philadelphia hospital.
The nature of the injury is unclear, except that the finger was reportedly cut off.
The Holland School, located at 1408 Plymouth Boulevard near the intersection with Fornance Street, is the historical name of a building currently used by Tot Time Child Development Centers, Inc. According to its website, the location teaches children six-weeks-old to kindergarten.
It was the second chopper called in as many days in Plymouth Township. Check back with Patch for updates.
