Criminal Mischief Reported at 7th Heaven
The incident occurred over the weekend of Jan. 26.
Police were dispatched to the Hector Street location at 8:40 p.m. on Jan 27, when an employee reported that a door had been damaged at some time within the past two days, according to a Whitemarsh Police report.
According to the employee, Thomas Raymond, someone attempted to pry open the rear door of the business, and that the metal door was bent in near the lock, police said.
Raymond said that he reviewed the security cameras, but could not see anyone near the door.
A similar incident occurred earlier this month when the door of Giant Supermarket on Ridge Pike was damaged during an attempted break in, but no one was seen in the security footage.
Raymond requested extra patrols in the area of 7th Heaven until he is able to repair the door.
