Contractor Falls From Ladder at Carfagno Chevrolet

The man was flown to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

A contractor who was working on upgrading the façade at Carfagno Chevrolet sustained serious injuries after falling from a ladder Monday morning.

According to Plymouth Police, at approximately 9:20 a.m. on March 12, they responded to 1230 E. Ridge Pike for a report of an injured worker.

Upon arriving at the scene, the injured man told police that he was taking measurements when the ladder he was working from slipped. The man, whose name is yet to be released but who works for Oliver Construction, fell between 10 and 15 feet to the ground.

Plymouth Ambulance assessed the man’s injuries and he was subsequently flown by helicopter to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

By 10:30 a.m. the scene was clear and work on the dealership has resumed.
