The Germantown Academy boys' cross country team narrowly defeated Plymouth Whitemarsh at home Wednesday, besting the Colonials by a score of 28-29. In cross country, team scores are established by adding the lowest five finishing places of each team, meaning the lowest total wins.
GA's senior captain Max Huang-Hobbs led the Patriots by setting a new course record of 17:31, with sophomore teammate Sam Ritz close behind at 17:32.
