Body of Missing Roxborough Man Found in Wissahickon Creek
The man disappeared after walking away from a fiery crash two months ago.
Police identified the body found in the Wissahickon Creek on Saturday as 33-year-old Roxborough resident David Taundi, who disappeared two months ago after surviving a fiery crash, according to The Examiner.
Philadelphia Police Spokeswoman Officer Christine O'Brien told Roxborough Patch that the body was found floating near Lincoln Drive and Ridge Avenue in East Falls on Feb. 16.
Taundi was last seen on Dec. 16 climbing out of his vehicle on the 5200 block of Hentry Avenue after it hit a pole, according to ABC6 Action News.
According to a Roxborough Patch article, Taundis father, Josiya, said he was gathering money to hire a private detective to search for his son.
